Belgian Open 2026: an ambitious 36th edition in Enghien

From July 22 to 26, 2026, Enghien will once again vibrate to the rhythm of international wheelchair tennis. The Belgian Open aims to build on the exceptional momentum of 2025 to take another step forward and confirm its status as an inclusive, spectacular, and unifying sporting event.

This edition also marks an important milestone in the continuity of the tournament. After several years of commitment, Kidist Lepoutre is stepping down from the direction of the Belgian Open. The organizing committee thanks her for the work accomplished and the energy she brought to the tournament. The leadership is now entrusted to Roland De Meersman, vice-president of the BWTO, whose international experience is a major asset for continuing the development of the Belgian Open.

The 2026 edition will introduce several major developments:

  • Strengthened outreach towards Flanders

  • New sporting categories

  • Introduction of night sessions

We hope to see many of you there to share this new edition with us.
